This 5-part series is intended to “break up the fallow ground” of our hearts (Jer. 4:3; Hosea 10:12) in order to make the 40 Days in the Word more productive and fruitful. The intention is to create a hunger and desire for God’s Word, by calling attention to the incalculable benefits and Worth of God’s Word. Through a thoughtful application of Jesus parables in Matthew 13 we can prepare our hearts to be open, fertile soil to receive God’s Word. Blending 3 Metaphors of the Christian Life from 2 Timothy 2:1-7 we will lay important groundwork in order Learn, Love and Live God’s Word more effectively.
