NORTH SHORE ASSEMBLY OF GOD

Real People......Sharing Real Life

Welcome to our church!
We’re here to glorify God by worshiping Him together, loving each other,
learning to live God’s way, serving others needs,
and sharing the good news about Jesus and what He has done for us.

Our church is made up of ordinary people who have experienced the transforming power of God’s grace and mercy. You’ll find people from every walk of life worshiping God together in our church. And hopefully you’ll find some of that transformation too!

We invite you to come as you are. You don’t need to do anything or be anyone special. Everyone is welcome.

Here’s some information to help make your visit with us as comfortable as possible. These are the most frequently asked questions. Welcome to our church!

How do I get there?
Our church is located off of Rte 1(South), Malden, MA. The street address is 77 Kennedy Drive. For directions, click here.

Where do I go when I get there?
When you arrive on the church campus you’ll drive between our educational/office building and our new sanctuary. (We’re hoping to complete the new sanctuary soon!) Just drive (slowly) between the two buildings. You’ll come to the main entrance where you can drop off any passengers you might have and continue on to our parking lot.

Where do I park if I’m elderly or handicapped?
There is an elevator entrance that can be accessed directly from our parking lot. So if you need the elevator, drive down to the parking lot and park close to the door (there are handicapped spaces just outside the elevator entrance to the building).

There is also a small lot near the flagpole which we reserve for elderly and handicapped. The safest way to get to it is to drive around the educational/office building and come around the back side of the church
(the side furthest from Rte. 1).

Where do I go once I’m inside?
In the main lobby you should be greeted by some friendly and helpful people who can answer any basic questions you have about the day’s service, childcare, and our Kids Church and Junior Kids Church. They’ll have an information packet about the church and a visitor card for you to fill out. Please fill out the card to help us serve you better.

We currently hold services in our large hall (which is meant for banquets, etc.). You may sit anywhere
(but you’re most likely to find an empty seat at the front ).

If you come in through the elevator entrance, you’ll walk through a couple doors and a small hallway to enter the hall. Someone should be there with a church pamphlet and a warm smile for you. They will be able to assist you if you need help finding your way.

Where are the bathrooms?
You’ll find these inside the hall in the back corner of the room.

Is there a nursery for my baby and me?
There is a nursery for children 0-18 months in  the back corner of the hall. There are other nurseries upstairs for children who are walking through to second graders. One of our greeters will be glad to guide you. You will need to sign your child in an provide some information. We take the security of children very seriously. Only you or someone you designate will be allowed to remove your child from the nurseries.

Is there church for my older children?
Yes! We have something very special for them!

Jr. Church
For children ages 3-5 we have a wonderful program where your child will learn the great stories of the Bible, make crafts, have snack, and play games.

KIDS' Church
Your 1st through 6th grade child will have a fun and enriching time in KIDS' Church. They’ll sing, play games and explore the Bible on their own levels.

What’s the service like?
We use a live band in our worship services. The music is lively and engaging and everyone is encouraged to sing (but you won’t stand out if you don’t). The words to the songs are projected onto a large screen at the front. People in our church love to sing, clap and even dance a little as we worship God.

Some of the songs are very moving, and it is not unusual to find people crying and praying where they stand, or even going up to the altar at the front to pray. Sometimes we gather around the front to pray together. Someone will usually lead out in prayer for any special needs people in our church might have.

(If you have any needs, we invite you to fill out a Prayer Card, which you’ll be able to find in the back of the church, or send an e-mail to prayer@northshoreag.org.)

Every Sunday, our Senior Pastor, or one of our staff pastors or a guest, shares a message explaining the Bible and encouraging us to love and obey God. The message always aims at dealing with the real issues of life—the good and the bad, the ups and the downs—and finding God’s way in a world that is often twisted and confused.

The service begins at 10:30am and ends around noon. We usually take some time out of the service to make announcements about what’s going on at the church and to collect an offering. When you visit, please do not feel compelled to give an offering. You are our guest.

What are your beliefs?
We believe that the Bible is our reliable, inerrant and infallible guide to knowing God and living in a way that will honor Him. We humbly strive to understand and apply the lessons of the Bible to our lives.
